In September 2023, St. Luke’s Hospital | Acinus became part of the national information system of organ and tissue transplantation.
We have worked hard on this, but the work is not finished – our goal is to become a clinic where leading surgeons will perform organ transplant operations.
Currently, we are also working hard on this.
Six of our specialists completed training and became regional transplant coordinators.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
St. Luke’s Hospital | Acinus is authorized to keep a register of data on donors.
In addition, we signed an agreement with the Heart Institute on cooperation in the organization of heart, kidney, liver and lung transplantation.
